Sarah started painting golden skies after struggling with migraine-related health issues for months, and painting was one of the few things she could do each day. After not having painted landscapes for several months, she found herself painting landscapes each day in her sketchbook, and golden skies showed up in each of them. To her they represent coming out from her foggy migraine days, into a brighter time of happiness and clarity.
