On a spring afternoon in 2022, I had picked some wildflowers on a walk with my pup, Penny. When we got home, the light in the living room was lovely, so I put them in an empty bottle and was taking photos so I could paint them later. And when I saw a cute nose creep into frame I did my best to take photos rather than laugh. I laughed afterward. When I was painting though, I wondered what I would want this label to actually be, if I had a magic wand. Rather than my favorite gin, I decided an empathy elixir might be just what we all need a shot of.
